Guys don't care about pick me girls, what I mean by that is that guys don't see it the way women do, it also depends on the type of guy, but for the most part men don't see women eating to be picked as a bad thing, nowadays it's hard to notice good quality women so them making themselves stand out isn't a bad thing, the only time pick me girls are most likely bad are is someone wants to sleep around, either cause of experience or cause they are hard to get, but besides that, the pick me stuff is woman's beef, if I had to guess I'd assume it's cause these women make others look bad so the competition is real.

I've dated a few girls who you would consider to be a "pick me" girl, only they didn't "shade" other girls. Instead, it was more of a "hey, I may not be the most gorgeous girl on the block but it's not all about that". Guess what - they were right.

That is something that has always existed and is called female intrasexual competition, women use gossip to destroy the reputation of their competitors, in fact women invented slut shaming as a form of intrasexual competition.
