A woman doesn't need to wear revealing clothing for attention. And I think, if someone does that, she knows darn well what she is doing and why. So do the other women around her. And that's fine with me bc she'll attract all of the kinds of attention I don't want and I won't get bothered by men I'd rather not interact with.

Because it's a bad look and the exact opposite of feeling empowered. No one wants to feel like they're making decisions to appease the people around them. That seems like a pretty easy straight forward read.

In an era that prizes authenticity and feeling like you're staying true to who you are, acknowledging that you present yourself to appeal to others is acknowledging that you're selling out, in a way.
