I had to double-check the age of this Anonymous post, to make sure, it wasn't my friend, trying to fuck with me (specifically me, in particular).

I grew up with skinny butts being the attractive thing. Some black dudes were into biggER butts. But not like today.

The world has been turned upside down. I've watched it happen. I've seen what's attractive go from being all about small butts, to a fixation with big-butts. I don't get it! It's Kim Kardashians fault. But it has changed.

The reason I thought you might be my friend posting this: I have ranted about this, at length. More than once. I feel super strongly about how wrong it is (I mean incorrect, small butts are beautiful).

I have literally talked about how fucked up it would be... to see a girl ask this exact question. It was like a joke. That things were so upside down, that skinny girls were going to start feeling unattractive, because they worry their butt isn't big enough.

People used to be all about skinny girls, there was a ton of pressure to be thin, eating disorders were scarily common (maybe they still are), and it was a bad scene. It was fucked.

Now, I see myself , the phenomenon you're talking about with the big butt thing. I cannot make sense of it myself. But things can't have changed so much in 20 years that nobody likes skinny girls anymore.

I can tell you though, that skinny isn't considered ugly. Not by most guys. I can't explain why they are suddenly all into big butts. I But I don't think anybody is really so into it as to find you less attractive for being skinny.

I have met a lot of women who were uncomfortable with thinking they should be skinnier than they are. A lot.

I have met 3 women who were extremely uncomfortable with being especially skinny. They had people make all kinds of assumptions about them, and these women were just as worried about being "too skinny" as any bigger girl I've ever talked to.

I don't know if you're just a skinny girl who likes a particular guy, who follow big booty babes on Instagram. Or if you're someone who has been teased about how skinny you are since you were a kid.

Regardless, the big butt thing... don't think that means that skinny is ugly now. That's just not true.
