Since I don't date or have no urge or need to fornicate, I don't care about men (or women) enough to be attracted to either one.

I would rather talk with people in public of course because that gives me a feeling of safety when others are around that could potentially intervene in case things don't go as planned.

Also, when in public, people tend to watch their language better. I totally abhor those that curse, swear, make innuendo or make dirty jokes and phrases with double meanings. Those are more likely to be spoken in private rather than in public and I would obviously feel much lesser at ease or even safe in a private setting.
