I love it when a guy flirts with me in public. I might be blind sided it at first and nit realize he's doing it but it is the sweetest thing when a man isn't shy to show his feelings or emotions about what he wants and when he wants it. But don't get me wrong, flirting in private in is sweet as well is sexy, corny and can be romantic but public show of affection is what most girls look forward to these days..

Personally I like both, when he can in public so everyone knows that he is in fact flirting with me and his not like embarrassed or ashamed that he's flirting with me but also in private so he can be more intimate and bring up more private things, 100% both depending on the time and place its all fun
