Is it unfair for a teenage girl to not have her own room in a trip? I feel like a teenage girl should have their own room on a trip because they need privacy and if the parents aren't able to afford it maybe they shouldn't go.

She needs to have her own space, not sharing. In my opinion I think it's unfair for a teenager (girl or guy) who has went through puberty to stay in the same room as parents or younger siblings

As someone who was once a teenage girl, I traveled plenty with my family and often stayed in the same room as other members of my family. It won't kill you. Is it inconvenient? But many things about travel are inconvenient.

Whatever it is that one might absolutely "need" privacy for, I suspect it can wait until after the trip. There is a fundamental difference between a need and a want.

I don’t think it’s unfair for a teenager to not have their own room on a trip just because a parent can’t pay for an extra room. Also, suggesting that the trip shouldn’t happen just because of that very issue is ridiculous and unfair to the people who wanted to go on that trip.

@jahaims Yea this reads privileged AF her own room on a trip are you kidding me? Lady camper vans are a thing for a reason. You don't need personal space like that for trips. You make sacrifices when you travel it's that simple. Stop complaining.

No. They are paying for it. I slept in the car and in tents when I went on some family vacations.

She's 15 and doesn't have a steady job, they are booking a Airbnb it's not that hard to get a space with more rooms, there are plenty that have more then enough rooms that are still in price range but they won't pick another one
