Foreign countries including Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, and the U. K. have issued traveling warnings to their citizens who are considering trips to the United States. The United Kingdom warned of arrest or detention for those who violate the rules for entering the U. S., noting authorities “set and enforce” entry rules strictly. Finland and Denmark warned that trans people may encounter special difficulties, since the U. S. no longer recognizes their existence.

This seems unfair. As long as a traveler is white and not trans or gay, it is unlikely that the government will do anything to him. Those other countries should tell people that, right?

The only thing they are doing is telling people to follow the rules. That should just be common sense for anyone doing international travel to any country. No big deal at all.

Countries regularly issue travel warnings and restrictions, it's part of their job. Nothing hew here. Take a look at the US State Dept's website... all kinds of warnings there.
