Guys, what happens when a woman is overly independent and then she realizes later in life she actually needs a man?

I've always seen myself as a woman who didn’t need a man. Like many women of my generation, I was raised to be strong, self-reliant, and to never depend on a man. Throughout my 20s and early 30s, I fully embraced that mindset. If I needed advice, help with my car, or anything maintenance-related, I turned to my dad. He’s always been my go-to. But now that I’m 36, and my dad is getting older, I’ve started to feel a shift. I find myself wondering how I’ll manage when he’s no longer around to lean on. It’s made me confront a truth I didn’t want to admit before — that doing life completely on my own forever may not be as easy as I once believed. I’m not trying to throw any shade at women who are happily single or fully independent. I admire that deeply. But I also think many women quietly wrestle with feelings like mine and just don’t talk about it. The truth is, men and women have different strengths — and that’s okay. Men naturally bring certain qualities to the table, just like women do. What are your thoughts on this? Does it make a woman sound weak or needy when she feels like she needs a man? Does it come across as if she wants to use a man?
