Girls, when you are playfully mean to a guy?

What are the chances that you do it because you like him? This girl can be a little of a smartass to people but with me she really cuts loose and "lets me have it" and she never takes a break, its playful though, she tries to be serious about it but I can tell she is about to crack up, is this an usual practice among younger (early 20s) girls?

I'm always playful to everyone. That's just how I am. But if the guy is a good friend, I will be more playful. I use the playfulness more when I talk to my boyfriend though, haha..

umm... I'm 17... and been doing this since I was like 14... So I don't think it's only girls in their early twenties that do it...

It depends on the girl. She may just feel more comfortable with you or likes how you respond to her acting that way towards her. Personally I'll act more of a smartass to the guy that I'm interested in as a playful/flirty thing. But I know some girls who act that way just because they like how the guy responds back.

Possible she likes you but tbh I'm like that to a lot of people whether I'm sexually interested or not. Depending how she acts around others. Hang around her and her best friends and you'll get to know her.

I know a lot of girls do it to all guys. She teases other guys in a "haha I'm joking with you" way but with me is like she is trying to make me believe she is serious, but of course that smile she has doesn't fool anybody lol.
