I heard from a friend that some guys hate you after you reject them cause they want to protect their wounded ego by blaming you as if you are some worthless being. I also think some guys try to ruin my reputation after I reject them cause I learned things about them during the time they tried to get close to me and they want to weaken me so I can't ruin their reputation by sharing their secrets with others. I know one guy I had not spoke to in around 4 years that would constantly view my Facebook profile cause he views me as risk to his reputation and he wanted to control what I said about him and who I talked to about him. When I realized he was still on my friend's list, I blocked him.

Some guys are mean because they don't know any other way to get her attention. Even if her attention is being mad at him.

And no, that's not ok and you should never tolerate that.
