I suck at taking hints, so I need a little help here. I've been vibing well with a girl at work. I'll keep it as short as possible.
Currently behaviour I've picked up, but unsure if she is just polite. It's a workspace after all.
- She asks questions of what I am up to on my free time and vacation. (polite?)
- She leans in closer to me when we talk (have a closer listen?)
- Our eye contact lingers a longer than normal.
- She jokes about I should tag along her vacation trip
- She gave me full attention even though another dude was talking to her. (my topic was more interesting)
Maybe it seems obvious, but to me everything can be politeness as well.
I've experienced colleagues doing the above, including being touchy. I made a move and apparently, she was just being friendly. Want to try doing the same mistake.

First things first.
What are your intentions with this coworker? What are your ultimate goals? Is it that you would want to get in her pants if the opportunity arises?
One never flirts with a coworker because it causes more problems than it will ever solve. There may be jealousy arising from other workers, there may be favoritism because people are no longer objective in their decisions.
It looks as if she likes you but again, fingers off. That is too hot to handle and the day something goes wrong, you might find yourself in an odd position at work.
Intention is just to get to know her, I am curious of her energy and her as a person. Ultimate goal would be to see if we could be something.
If I would get in her pants by opportunity is a rough question, specially for me or anyone that is attracted to someone. Short answer yes, but no if it can lead to something more meaningful.
I am in a totally different department, so if I or she want to. We could limit seeing each other to almost never, it's harder to see each other than not. Still fingers off?
I would never try anything with a co-worker, even if that employee is from a different department. That creates too many potential conflicts.
I would say make a move except it is where you work. Maybe do some recon first.
Okey, so make a move outside work or? I am not going to make any move yet, I'll do as you suggest, recon first a little more. Thanks for the feedback!
happy hunting
She's flirting hard. Ask her to dinner.
Do elaborate, like I said I suck at the hints. I can't tell what hard or subtle flirting is apparently.
In my opinion hard flirting involves more touch, compliments and tease.
It's work. Just ask her and get an answer.
