Girls, how old were you when you had your last "tea party"?

I understand that "tea parties" are a thing that very young girls do to feel grown up. And, perhaps 150 years ago, tea parties were a social activity for mature women, an excuse to dress in your finery, gather, and gossip. (What men would call a "hen fest.")

Have you ever, in your adult years, either hosted or attended a tea party? How old were you when you attended or hosted an event?

Age 5 or younger

Age 6-10

Age 11-15

Age 16-20

Age 21-30

Age 31-40

Age 41 or older

I have Never had a tea party real or imaginary. I’ve heard of tea parties and I have seen them on reality TV.

My culture drinks coffee not tea. So when I played with my cousins or friends we served coffee and Spanish cookies pastries tostada sandwiches or crackers.

Unlike cultures who gather for social tea time we borinqueños gathers for coffee and merienda time.

If you forget tea as a component and are talking about a bunch of girls getting together dressed up to drink and gossip then it's still very much alive. Only it's done at wine bars not fancy mansions. I have been to a few such events with my female friends this year.

I think I was 5 or younger when I had a pretend Tea 🍵 party and my last Tea ☕️ party was early this morning with @brandi555 and I hope my next scheduled Tea party will be in approximately 30 minutes.

I don't remember my exact age but I remember I was in elementary school and I had like tea party with my stuffed animals
