I wouldn't say it is a detriment. It really isn't a benefit at this stage in my life either. Ultimately, it will depend on whether I choose to have kids someday. Not something I think about now.

Everyone gets the same amount of time off, but we have our period pain we use that time just to suffer at home

That's just one example of how our reproductive system messes up our life

Detriment I had mine taken out and now I can’t eat anything without stomach pain.
