My girlfriend acts strangely during her mood swings. How I should act?

My girlfriend sometimes has mood swings, and I don't know what to do during these moments. She becomes apathetic and irritable, distant, and refuses to tell me what's wrong, but when we talked about it calmly, she said she needs support when this shit happens. However... How can I support her during her mood swings if she distances herself when I try, refuses to share her feelings, ignores texts, and acts like she wants me to leave her alone?

Well, I'm writing here because she's becoming like you described in the second paragraph. I expect she'll soon start getting angry at me for texting her and "warp out into ultra shit test mode, all shrieking and complaining about everything." She used to apologize to me, but lately I can't shake the feeling that she doesn't feel guilty, doesn't give an F, and uses mood swings as an excuse for being rude for no reason
