Why do people with anorexia believe they are overweight?

It’s a mental illness, longing for control over something in their lives coupled with a form of body dysmorphia. They have a distorted view on reality. Just like how someone who’s schizophrenic can see or hear things that aren’t real or how someone with body dysmorphia sees themselves as hideous and obsess over over some of their physical traits often their face and hide themselves, even though in reality they’re average or even good looking people. Yeah it isn’t real or what everyone else sees. That’s the point. It’s abnormal mental illness and mental illness can do a lot to you.
Then why does everyone know that the guy in the picture isn’t bald?
Its a mental illness, they don't just believe it, they see themselves overweight even when they aren't
But then why can they see that the guy in the photo isn’t bald? Why does no one with long hair think that they are bald?
Because this illness forms, people aren't born with it, they have either been told constantly that they are overweight, made fun, called out or bullied, laughed at, constantly that forms a mental illness, also them being obsessed with it as well, insecurity also causes it
So if everyone does this to people with long hair will certain people with long hair eventually think that they are bald?
Maybe not bald but if you tell them that their hair sucks and they hear it a lot, they will be self conscious and yes the possibility of them never being satisfied with their hair is a possibility, less than this issue happening with their baldness but that's possible I'm sure, the brain is a sensitive organ
