Why does she reinitiate after suggesting no contact?

This girl and i kept getting into a fight over the same thing and usually it eventually got settled but now i was just done and kept going.

Sometimes we didn’t talk for a couple of days but last Thursday it happened again and she said: i think we shouldn’t be talking to eachother for a while.

i said: i agree.

I thought we were done for and started to come to terms with that we will never settle the argument and that it won’t work.

But literally tonight she texted me again, just started with some small talk.

But why suggest no contact only to text me like 3 days after. (Yeah i thought of asking her but i don’t think i should this fast as she is so easily triggered when it comes to this stuff. Not even sure if i want her anymore)

You should definitely call her out on that shit rather than be afraid of triggering her because an explanation is deserved. Otherwise this is going to be the same cycle of fighting over this topic and her asking for space. You shouldn’t allow people to be wishy washy about whether or not they want you in their lives. It’s either she’s in or she’s out.

I’d also add it’s incredibly problematic that you’re being avoidant when it comes to talking about things that bother you out of concern that you’d trigger her. If you start down that road now you’ll find yourself walking on eggshells your whole relationship and staying quiet all the time about things that matter and should be addressed. That’s not a healthy relationship.

I always do confront her, but with this subject we barely make any progress and it tires me. She is clearly holding something back but damn so fcking annoying and i have no clue why she keeps coming back
