If the gender roles had been reversed, would feminists have defended Conrad Roy the way they did Michelle Carter?

During the trial, feminists wrote articles about how Carter should be let off the hook because she is underage, because the justice system is rigged against women, and because the patriarchy is responsible for her being put in the role of caretaker, which led to her goading him into taking his own life.

Suppose that the roles had been reversed. Suppose Conrad Roy had been the one who texted her to get back in the car and gas herself to death, and that her sisters would not miss her. Would feminists have also defended him? Or would they have take. Their knives out at him?

Feminists: “How dare a teen tell his girlfriend to get back in the car and gas herself?

“But he was a teenager, just like Carter, and besides, she wanted to take her own life.”

Feminists: “It does not matter! What matters is that a teen male made his girlfriend take her own life! He is an incel who listens to Matt Walsh! Therefore he must be punished and made an example of!”

Michelle Carter commited a crime.
Telling another person to commit suicide is a crime.
Michelle Carter shouldn’t have been charged with murder in my opinion because she didn’t physically kill him but I agree she should have been charged with manslaughter for harassing him and telling him to end his own life. I don’t think she was 100 percent responsible for his death because like I said before she didn’t physically kill him but she definitely was a contributing factor towards his death for verbally harassing him.

I don’t care what a person looks like. If a person does something wrong they should be punished.
