Why would this girl who works in the building with me goes quiet for no reason?

I don't know her that well but we've stopped and had conversations with each other. She would always smile at me when walking past. I've noticed she has gone quiet with me for no reason what so ever. I know I haven't said anything bad to her. Conversation has always been light nothing too heavy.

If you’re the type to be avoidant and instead match energy by not talking to her as well then she could also be wondering the same thing. The only way to know is by asking though.

I always say hello to her and good morning when I pass her. Both she and I have had 15 minute conversations before, as in casual conversations. She would always be smiling and playing with her necklace when talking to me. She has just gone strangely quiet with me, even today she walked past me but said good morning to someone else but not me
