What do the men of GAG think about women that swear a lot?

I, personally, have never swore (much) lol but there's a girl I work with that lets the expletives fly like a drunk sailor! She's always professional in a public setting and it personally doesn't bother me, most of the time, I grew up with three older brothers lol but another friend of mine told me how off put her husband was by it when he met her. Another coworker has also mentioned how vulgar she is and that's probably a reason she's single.

Would you guys be turned off by a woman that swears a lot? It's a poll for men but I do want to hear from women also, so, girls, do you swear a lot or do you tend to watch your mouth 🤭

it depends... but the quick answer is, I don't mind it

still depends though, I have a lot of family and relatives, I have lived in big big crowded neighborhoods in two countries, so yeah... there's going to some here and there who like to swear a lot, and some are loud with it too, lol... so I am more than used to it

I grew up around them, so I know that is just a part of them that does not "reflect" anything wrong or bad about them... in fact, my mother is someone that NEVER in her life will swear but my mother's best friends, two of them are just like that... they don't over do it, no... but they definitely use them freely when it fits, and they're great people, great great people

so, for me to be bothered by this... it would have to be a LOT, excessive, but also rude... if they are very rude and aggressive towards people, and have that kind of attitude, then it would not matter whether or not they swear too... right?

Years ago I knew a girl in college. We were pretty good friends but she was a city kid and every other word out of her mouth was a swear word. One morning we were eating together in the cafeteria and I told her that I thought that she had a lot going for her but her language made her sound ignorant.

She told me to F myself and she got up and walked away and never spoke to me again.

I feel that way also. If the only way you can express yourself or try to get your point across is through swearing, it's a lack of intelligence but "studies', supposedly say OTHERWISE. The smartest people I know, even on here, don't express themselves through vulgar language. I've always respected athletes for keeping their cool during post game interviews also! Some do let the expletives fly but most conduct themselves professionally and with dignity. I also respect politicians! Even I would throw some F bomb's during debates/interviews lol

I honestly think it depends on the guy and how much they swear.

I personally don't swear that often unless it's with my bestie and my guy friend. And even then it's not like every sentence is full of expletives.

I certainly wouldn't cuss around a guy I'm just getting to know and dating. It would take a while before I feel free enough to do that and it's only if they swear first.

But generally I don't swear a lot or like a sailor. I think that's very unbecoming for anyone.

I don't mind swearing, as long as it's not constant. It's juust words and they can ony hurt you if you give them the power to hurt you.
If someone swears once every minute or spo, it dooesn't bug me at al. But, I have a friend that swears nearly eve other word. That's annoying!! He owns a record label up in Erie.

I don't care THAT he's using the words, it's the fact that he uses them so incredibly often that's annoying. It'd be the exact same thing if he changed, "fuckin''" to, "darn"

It doesn't bother me. A bit of swearing makes her a normal person as opposed to a prude. It might even indicate that she has a good sense of humor.
But cursing like a longshoreman would be a turn off.

My brother in law swears quite often, he is also one of the funniest people I've ever met! What you say has a lot of truth to it. I honestly think his stories and jokes wouldn't be as funny without the swear words.

My first thought would be where can't I take her without being embarrassed by her.

If her tone was angry my second thought would be to find a happy girl as you want peace in your home.

If she loud in swearing it would be same as the first.
