Why do I crave attention from people who ignore me?

This is actually a fantastic question. Women are natorious for wanting more and more attention... Why? fuck if I know. They just do.

Then these fucking horn dogs ignore that fact because they want some of that clam... never question it. Other women see it, recognize it... and then direct attention away from it because they want some sweet attention too.

So the base reason you're so driven to get attention, expecially from those trying to ignore you, is because you're a woman. It's like a video game achivement is to me... Yes, I finally get to use the thermal scope on this weapon in Battlefield 6. My KDA still sucks but I get to use this shit now. Nobody but other men understand why I spend hours just to do that shit... and nobody understand why you spend your time trying to do that shit. Just a fucking mystery that everybody knows the fucking answer to, but they don't want to say it.

Yourself , that you should go seek counseling for , because unfortunately being an attention seeker, can affect you especially if you end up in a relationship with someone ,, you unfortunately will never feel at peace or content with someone because if they don’t give you the attention you crave , you will assume worse case scenarios and then you might leave them or cheat on them with someone else. Attention seekers are not good relationship people whatsoever , because of that reason. I ended up in relationships with attention seekers and they all ended because they all assumed the worst case scenario and ended up cheating on me for all the wrong reasons. So i do my best to stay away from attention seekers because they can’t be trusted

Because you have been trained to desire what you can't have rather than value what you can have or already have. And here is the real irony: if you got the attention you crave, it still wouldn't make you happy, because most real happiness in life comes from GIVING and BEING USEFUL to others, not from what you get.

Look at people who get rich, especially when young. Most quickly find that being able to buy whatever they want doesn't really make them happy - though some pretend for the cameras. But a lot of them try parties and booze and drugs and sex and even crazier stuff, looking for happiness but never finding it. Because happiness doesn't come from getting as much as it comes from giving.

What is common and easily obtained is assigned low value. What is rare and hard to obtain is assigned higher value. That guy who's ignoring you isn't making a conscious decision to ignore you. His attention is simply focused elsewhere. He's just doing his thing. If he ran up to you and asked for your number you'd call him needy or creepy. We always want what we can't have. And his lack of engagement forces you to imagine what he's like. Now he's living rent free in your brain. And that's a YOU thing.
