Do you take a step back in your natural leadership/approach to things when you like a guy?

I was chatting with a few of my female friends yesterday and we agreed that when there's someone we like we kind of give them a bit of "leadership space" in our life. Let the guy choose if we're staying in or going out, don't always be bossy or have everything planned, etc.

Some folks see that as "being weak" but tbh it's nice to give the guy space to feel like he's in charge and have the rare occasion not to be "femboss" the way I have to be when I'm at work. I enjoy being around a guy who will let me be feminine and feel desired.

Pretty much agree with what you and @OlderAndWiser said. That is exactly the type of dynamic I want in a relationship. Not to say that my partner has no say in anything, but I prefer she let me take the lead for the most part.

When a woman has absolute faith in your decisions, intellect, and ability to lead, there's not much that's as endearing in life.

Yes. My thing is that the guy has to show me he's capable of being in control of things... and then I'm more than happy to hand over the reigns.

I enjoy a lady who allows me to take the lead most of the time, as a matter of tradition and convenience. But I also emphasize that I want a woman who walks by my side, not in front of me and not behind me. Being partners and following traditional roles are not mutually exclusive.

Yes, agreed. But I like to take a guy's arm and walk/lean on him a little. It feels nice, you know?

yess absolutely!!💯 i am independent & capable in other areas of life (usually😅), but if it’s a guy i like i would much rather take a step back & let him be the leader / be in charge!!👌🏻 i think most men naturally like to be the leader & i naturally fall into more of a support/nurturing role😊😊
