1 moFrom Reddit (I think this is a pretty accurate answer):
The most accurate direct equivalents like "dudette" are rarely used and often sound like a joke. In natural conversation, women usually refer to each other using terms like "girl," "girly," or "bestie." When speaking directly, "dude" is frequently used as a gender-neutral term for both men and women.00 Reply322 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. When a female Vampire is a Vampirette,
so a female Dude must be Dudette.
I don't speak English as native speaker, so don't take it as any reference. XD20 Reply659 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Maybe girl, girlie, or chick. There is dudette, but I don’t think I’ve heard that since TNMT on Saturday morning cartoons when I was little

Anonymous(25-29)1 mo'My friend' isn't just a word; it's an attitude. In the world of women, there's no real equivalent, because a woman with true character is a world unto herself, not limited by labels. But if you absolutely must define it, look for 'the unwavering strength beneath the grace.' The true essence lies there, and if you want to find it, I can show you. :d

m 1 moSuffix -ette seems to be one frenchification possible, it's commonly used to girlify, cutify, and generally make things shorter/smaller.
I can't wait to see dickette and truckette becoming popular

1 moDudette... However I think the word "dudette" only fits if you are also referring to "dudes" in the same sentence. Like, "I went to a country western concert and there were lots of dudes and dudettes".

1 moThere isn’t one. We use dude or bruh. At least me and my friends do.
Well, girl, I guess. But girl is used only for girls, and you can use dude for anybody.

1 moDepends upon which part of the world you are in. For example, Irish love to call each other ‘lass’ when in fun mood. Sis and Gal are also pretty common.
00 Reply354 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I'd never use such a word when reffering to a female , but it's just not a word I'd use for anyone..
I don't like the suggestions here either , certainly not babe.00 Reply- 2.7K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
u 1 moThe more established slang equivalent would probably be "chick," but "dudette" is a more recently established alternative.

Yes. Bender Rodriguez is using it.
1 moI see it more as interchangeable like “mate” in the uk , most others I can think of don’t sound like they fit with maybe the exception of “girl”

1 moThere are several. Babe or Gal is possible.
Dame is also possible. There is nothing like a dame.
00 Reply Officially it would be "Dudette", but it seems like women use the word "Girl" a lot.
