This is something I never understood. Every woman I've ever met talks about how much they hate bras and how the best part of the day is taking them off after work and more and more women are beginning to go braless.
But from my experience the vast majority of women still wear bras and it's still the default.
And then my question comes why are bras still a thing? Why are the majority of women still in bras?
Wasn't there like a massive movement back around the late 60s or early 70s to get rid of bras?
Why have they stuck around for like more than half a century after? What happened to the whole movement?
And I am aware that some women do need the support but if that's the case why aren't bras just a niche uncommon thing only for those women instead of the default for everybody?
I'm just curious about the logic because given the history of bras and everything the logic doesn't really add up.

Some women need support? Just some? No, most women need support. Even small breasts bounce or move when we do the simplest of things. I can tell you this along with every other woman because at one point we did not have large breasts. They don't just appear overnight.
While I understand what you are saying about how we like to take them off after work, that is because we know that we aren't going to be moving about to the point where they will hurt, or we wouldn't take them off.
I don't like wearing one if I don't have to but they are very much necessary in day to day life. You say you understand that we need support but don't understand why we wear bras. That's why. Unless a girl hasn't been fitted and is wearing the wrong size then they are not as bad as this vast majority makes it out to be.
I don't know why you're triggered over a simple question but whatever, bras keep everything in place and stop it from hurting when you run or do everyday stuff. Also regular bras aren't uncomfortable, it's just that some girls have no idea how to get the right fit or they just buy cheap ones

I didn't mean that it's something that happens all the time. Just something that's frequently brought up when I see 2 or more women talking to each other.
I also do see women online write about it a lot.
I don’t agree with what you wrote anyway. I would have thought the opposite. I would have thought many women find it uncomfortable to not wear bras during the day while walking or running.
Might depend on where you live. Where I live it's definitely a trend especially among younger women, college aged especially.
I assume the women who go braless have smaller breasts or if they have big breasts have at least sports bras for running or whatever.
If a woman has big breasts I can't imagine braless would be comfortable during exercise so she'd own a sports bra for that at least.

That would make more sense actually. I've read several times that most women wear the wrong size because getting a good quality properly fitted bra is extremely expensive or something like that.
Yeah I don't even have boobs per se but I am a guy who is kind of overweight and while it isn't painful for me it is kinda uncomfortable when my tits move and is definitely a sign that I should lose weight.
As an overweight guy there's not much to hold in place but if my tits were two to three times bigger I imagine I would need something to hold them in place.
It doesn’t really matter what size. Not wearing a bra while walking or running will cause the breast to move up, down or side to side and it wouldn’t feel comfortable.
Wearing a bra stops the breasts from moving. It should be comfortable wearing a bra. The women who say it’s not comfortable are probably wearing the wrong size.
As you are a woman I believe you because it'd be ridiculous for a man like me to know how women's bodies work better than a woman like you lol.
Maybe even if a man is overweight his tits still works differently than a woman's tits? Maybe because men are more muscular naturally so men's tits is more muscle while women's tits are more fat? I don't know lol.

For me I don't really keep track of what most people do but since you are a woman and most likely spend a lot of time around other women you're probably correct.
Sometimes I go out without a bra, but when I do, the clothes I wear definitely have to be loose-fitting. I generally hate milk cream; I never wear it at home, but I have to wear it when I go out because I don't want people to think I'm an escort.
That's understandable. With loose-fitting clothes it's less obvious you're not wearing a bra.

If so for that size of breasts isn't going braless really uncomfortable? Like I thought most braless women had small breasts. No judgement just curious.
There are mistakes because I'm using translation, And I really don't like wearing a bra, and yes, if I'm not wearing a bra outside, it's obvious in every way, especially women notice. Sometimes I really want to just wear tight blouses and go out like that, without a bra, but unfortunately people might misunderstand.
Oh really wow. That's kind of surprising because I usually hear smaller breasted women go braless but not bigger breasted women.
What is it you don't like about bras if you don't mind me asking? Is it just the tightness?
And do you at least wear a sports bra or something for exercises? I hear that big boobs and braless when exercises can be very painful.
