And when she tells me she's on her period I used to buy her dark chocolate. Is there anything else that I can buy other than dark chocolate all the time that you guys would like during your period?

Tbh it sounds like you may like your female best friend romantically from the way you talk. She may feel the same way about you, if she’s open enough with you to confide when she’s on her period on a regular basis. (I’ve never done this with any of my guy friends.) You guys may need to talk about this.
