Why is obsessive behavior creepy in men but called love in women?

Just curious, why there are different labels for the same things.
I kinda hate it, love should at least be acknowledged.
I know guys don't take rejections well.
But when in a relationship isn't it natural to balance it out a bit.

Because obsessive men tend to become controlling, and in some cases they can even harm the woman, either physically or psychologically.

What can an obsessive woman realistically do in most cases? If a guy isn't interested, it's usually easier for him to get away from her and move on.

Both can be in love, but obsessive behavior in men is more likely to have serious consequences.

We are definitely all having our own lived experiences, because I have seen obsessive women, even have known two (one who is still on this site, active) and there is nothing loving or romantic about what I’m seeing. Or have seen.
