I am an Operations RX Manager, and one of our leads has a crush on me that’s been brewing for a while. A bit ago, I tried being vulnerable and opened up about going out together. She backed away from it. Then, right after, she tried circling back to reopen the conversation, but at that point, I was too confused by her mixed signals and didn't take the bait. I wanted to avoid overwhelming her, so I let it be and never directly asked her out again. Things naturally faded.
A few weeks later, the dynamic completely flipped and she started getting super bossy on the floor. To be clear: I am above her in the hierarchy—she is just a lead and does not have the authority to act the way she does.
The friction usually happens when she's pushy or tries to take charge of situations where she actually ends up being incorrect. The funny thing is, I have never publicly confronted her or shoved her mistakes in her face; any corrections I've made have been indirect, yet she still takes normal operational feedback as a personal attack on her ego (e. g., throwing out passive-aggressive lines like "I guess I’m just always wrong").
Over the last week, because of her attitude, I’ve completely pulled back my energy and kept all communication strictly professional and task-oriented. Now, she's acting distant, making herself "invisible," and overcompensating by being loudly chatty with other coworkers to look unbothered, while clearly spiraling in her own head because she knows she's out of line.
what does this mean about me and her obviously I see this as a red flag but is she jealous of me, I started in the front store and 2 months ago I started working in the Pharmacy growing and adapting very fast to the point I’m in this role and helping at the drop off, production area etc. Every one seems very happy with me improving she was also until very recently.

From what you described, her behavior could come from embarrassment, frustration, insecurity, attraction, or discomfort after the earlier mixed signals. It’s possible she feels threatened by your rapid growth in the pharmacy, but there isn’t enough evidence to say she’s jealous.
The bigger red flag is her workplace behavior. Since you’re above her in the hierarchy, personal feelings shouldn’t affect professional communication or how she responds to normal feedback.
I’d keep things professional, consistent, and task focused. Don’t try to interpret her every reaction or assume what she’s thinking. If her attitude starts affecting work, address the specific behavior calmly rather than her possible motives.
To me, it sounds like she is regretting a missed opportunity that she doesn't know how to deal with. Which has resulted in resentment and anger towards you. In other words she is immature and needs to grow up.
Sounds valid. Thank you
You obviously didn't offer to give her a damn good fucking... Simples!
She’s always gave the vibe an awkward vibe so I wasn’t sure if I should be more clear she seems like she would have needed to get into things slowly. So I’m not sure what you mean. Can you elaborate?
