Why do some women get defensive when men call out unfair dating expectations?

it doesn't take rocket science to realize that most women (not every single one of them though) often time have ulterior motives in the world of dating.

they often times do not go on dates to get to know that person they are dating. they are just in it for the free food, status and validation. I think any man that has gone on date and had this happened to them deserves to feel frustrated.

on top of this it is often men that must...

  • initiate the act.
  • meet expectations.
  • pay for both often times.
  • risk rejection or being ghosted after the date.

yet most women get extremely defensive when getting called out on this. they will try to deny it at all cost and then blame men for being the "problem."

obviously I'm not saying the party that pays and risk it all must be compensated at all cost but at the same time the party that pays does deserve to feel deceived if they were the ones that risked it all and still has the chance of not getting anything out of it.
