Where the fuck do girls get this low self-esteem bullshit?

I'm dealing with an issue right now that seems to mostly be all about that. She feels she's not good enough for me! LET ME BE THE JUDGE OF THAT!! As far as I'm concerned, she's the BEST thing that's EVER happened to me and I want to share the rest of my life with her!! If she'd ONLY LET ME!!! SURE, it's gonna take a while, because of our present situations, to make that happen but, I can wait!! GREAT things come to ye who wait and BOY HOWDY, is she a great thing!!! And, there's ABSOLUTELY NO POINT in breaking up over this!!! Besides, I THINK I see a light at the end of the tunnel that might help the both of us!!! I won't know for sure for a few weeks or so, but it LOOKS QUITE promising!! I'll ALWAYS be here for her, NO MATTER WHAT!!

Anyway, also to the pont of the question: I met a girl in college about 22 years ago and she was involved with a VERY sick and abusive guy!! As much as I tried to talk her into leaving him, she refused because she felt that, if she left him, she'd never be able to find another guy so, she "might as well just stick with what I've got!"! In the meantime, at least one other classmate was interested in her and it also looked like the Prof. was, too!! Well, Kelly ended up marrying the asshole and had two kids with him. About 2 years into their marriage, she'd had enough of his shit and divorced him and, WHAT DO YA KNOW, within a few MONTHS, she had a new boyfriend!! She's had at least 3 more since then!! So much for her not being able to find another one!!
Another girl I met in college years before this was drop dead gorgeous and very sexy as well as a major sweetheart (not quite as much as my "present girlfriend")!! But, she had some screwy idea that she was fat and ugly!! Nearly every guy on campus wanted to fuck her!!! She was a cross between Debbie Harry, Kim Cattrall and, some say, Marilyn Monroe. Last I heard, about 5 years ago, she never married, had no kids and is now in her late 50's and a bit overweight!

Where the fuck do girls get this low self-esteem bullshit?
