Why are girls so full of themselves?

I'm a giving person. I am genuinely nice, and treat everyone with respect. But whenever you're nice to girls, they ALWAYS take kindness as if you're hitting on them or something.

What really made me ask this question is because two days ago, a random girl and I get on an elevator in my apt building. I push my button and I ask what's hers so I can push it for her, and she replies very awkwardly: "um...12...?" and made the elevator ride weird.

The next day, same deal happens but it's a guy. I push my button and ask him his. He replies: "I'm on 6, thanks man." in an appreciative tone, and even chats on the ride.

I don't know what it is, but when you do nice things for girls they just seem so self-centered and arrogant. Why is this and what are your experiences?

Women have Disney princess syndrome not some vast majority and they'll be in denial blame accuse pout anything to hide the fact that they can do no wrong dont let them fool you they receive so much attention that the typical woman even below average slob of a woman thinks her shit don't stink dont forget that.

Not all are, but some are just cautious or have had a buttload of bad experiences, possibly explaining her behavior towards you. Just don't put too much stock into that.
