Why would girls at or below my league turn me down but I ask a girl way out of mine and she says yes?

So I was asking girls, some around my league some below. Some seem to think they’re too full of themselves. They’re acting a bit jealous now.

So I thought I already embarrassed myself enough. I might as well. Fully expecting to be rejected. This woman is beautiful and I mean a bombshell. She’s very opinionated and also very intelligent. She’s got a lot of money form her parents and her business.

I hardly knew her. I asked her and her eyes lit up and she says YES really excited. We had a great date and we have recently made it official.

I hardly have anything. I think I have average looks. Not a idiot. Not the smartest. Hardly have any money.

She’s genuinely a great woman she’s also very conservative like I am. She’s really helped me find my confidence again as well. I was very insecure and she’s been amazing at helping me. I feel so great

While pink anon (30-35) is wrong that leagues do not exist, because they do! THEY ARE NOT set in stone.

It largely has to do with people and thier insecurities. A guy or a woman CAN occasionally win over a partner out of thier league if he or she is confident enough and the other person self esteem is low enough. But that can also work the opposite direction. I've had plenty of avg. To below avg. Looking women reject me because thier self esteem was too low. I know I'm not top shelf in the looks dept. But I make up for it in other areas. But with some women if they're unattractive enough, or at least feel they're too unattractive enough. Then they only want really attractive men to give them legitimacy. Because in thier mind they can say to the world "see I'm not ugly, if I was ugly I couldn't land a guy like this". This women have so little regard for themselves they' even turn a blind eye to him f***ing half a dozen girls and pretend it isn't happening. Because in many women's minds they don't fully live in reality anyhow. Most women would rather believe a pleasant fantasy then entertain the harsh truth.

Because it's not about leagues, but about the moment.

You could meet a skank at a bad moment and she'd turn you down. But a supermodel going through a breakup, could give you a quick hookup.

It's more about knowing what to say and do in the moment, if the moment is there. You always find guys saying "she wasn't into it" or "she's stuck up" when the daft prick is you not reading the moment.

Because "leagues" are a state of mind. The ones you thought to be at or below in their heads might think that they are "all that" - the proverbial "my sh*t doesn't stink" types. And the girl whom you think is "out of your league" might not care about anything of the sort.
