Oh God I experienced this situation. I waited for him for an hour until I called him and asked where the h*ll he was. Turns out he had got caught up in something with his mother and said he was (get this) an hour away and asked if I wouldn't mind waiting on him. I was thoroughly pissed. He never called me I had to call him, our first date and that is how it turned out. I never spoke to him ever again after that. He never attempted to make it up to me either. No man, I repeat no man is worth giving the benefit of the doubt if he isn't going to make it up to you for being late their own date.

Depends on if he called or texted you inforimg you he'd be late.

I have been thirty minutes late to a date before because I didn't have a car and I had to rely on someone to take me who was very busy. Yet, I texted my ride and let him know and kept letting him know when I'd be there, so he was cool with it

well I'd wait about 30 min max but that's only if he has called or texted you letting you know. If he doesn't call or text to tell you he is going to be late then I'd leave after 15. Don't ever wait on a guy. It's so selfish on his behalf and it will always continue to be like this

My wife waited 3 hours once...there's no definitive answer to this. Depends on how much you like them and whateer circumstances are making them late!

I wait 10 minutes then I calll and if I don't get an answer then I get back on the phone and start making other plans for the evening. I have better things to do then wait around for somebody who isn't showing me any respect. I am forgiving if they have a legit reason for being late and more importantly not calling and letting me know they will be late but most guys in this day and age don't.

If its the first date honestly I would have a little bad impression towards him.Everything is expected to be perfect at the first date.If he has good reason for it I won't mind but I hope his reason is true not just an excuse.I don't really like un punctual person because I'm very punctual when comes to date or meeting.
