I believe they are quite different. Being scared means you are truly afraid that something very bad might happen. Being nervous means you are worried and jittery, but nervousness can also be more positive. You can be both scared and nervous before a job interview. Before a date, maybe you are just a little nervous. But when you are being chased by a hungry bear, you are probably simply scared.

Nervousness causes fear. A person can be nervous, but not afraid. Like, being nervous to talk to someone that you really want to talk to. You're not necessarily afraid, you're just anxious. Then there's fear. When you think about all the bad things that can happen which causes you to not do something because you're AFRAID that those things might happen.

Being Nervous is felling anxious like a butter fly in your stomach feeling but being scared on the other hand is having fear it is heavier.
when you are scared, you get nervous. actually it's the same thing.
