What does it mean when a guy rubs your back while you are puking?

I met a guy and before I left him at an airport I was partying with him.. We did not have sex because his friend has a crush on me. Anyways I danced with other dudes and he said, "You sure do love playing with fire." and I couldn't help myself and I kissed him on the cheek. When we were on our way to the airport. I said to him, "I know you like me even though you are pulling off that being distant sh*t.". He allowed me to hold him and lay my head on his shoulder. When we arrived at the airport, I started puking and he rubbed me on my back. He said to me that we better stay in contact through Facebook and then left to take the plane with his friend. Can anyone explain this behavior ? Is it pity or is it genuine affection?

Man not too be a jerk but so many girls on here and they can't tell when I guy is really into them and wants to be their best friend.I don't know to me its so obvious maybe you are used to being treated like dirt and you think that is normal?And I mean best friend like they want a relationship with you and to be your one and only lover.To me it sounds like it is genuine affection! and that he wants to be either a really good friend,a really good friend in hopes to pursue a relationship one day,or he wants a relationship.Those are the three reasons and instants where I would treat a girl the way he treated you and say the things he did.You were feeling bad and sick and he was comforting you, that is something that a good friend would do for another friend.He definitely wants to stay in touch with you, that is another sign that he wants to be a friend to you.He was being distant possibly because of his friend has a crush on you,but I would say definitely because he didn't want to get involved with you at that time because he was leaving and didn't want to start anything if he wasn't going to be around to see you and spend time with you.He said, "You sure do love playing with fire." because it sounds like he cares for you and doesn't want to see you get hurt by some jerk you barely know.How long have you known him?If you really like this guy I would say it is good that you didn't have sex with him and I recommend that you develop a strong friendship before you have sex with him.If you don't either you or him will probably feel weird after having sex and you will destory what could have been a good relationship.It has happen to me a lot maybe it is just the girls I have been with are sluts I don't know,but every time I have met a girl and had sex with them right away they always end up like hating me or something.We have sex and it is good for both me and them I think they don't really say.Well some of them have said it was good,but I figured they were just trying to flatter me and were being nice.After when I call them to hang out and talk they just act really weird like something is wrong or I did something wrong and it is them who wanted to have sex not me but I am very horny and once they turn me on I don't want to stop.They don't even want to talk to me to tell me why they are acting weird.So if you want something more then a one nightstand with him wait to have sex with him.

also since you were dancing with other guys he probably was a little unsure about wether or not you liked him for sure.And socializing with other guys in front of guys is kinda a turn off for most guys and some guys get really jealous over this.

You were right. We have contact through Facebook now and I talked to him the other day. He is still convinced that he will manage to "tame" me and he wants me to visit him where he lives. Anyhow... I will remain friends with him for a while.
