Do you think it's okay to play spin the bottle and truth or dare when you have a boyfriend?

I'm going to a party tomorrow night and there will be other guys there.. I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 8 months. That being said, would it still be okay for me to join in on the games of spin the bottle or truth or dare? I know that they'll probably end up getting a little out of hand with dares saying kiss so and so or something...

Do you think it'd be okay as long as there's no romantic involvement? Should I tell my boyfriend?

Honestly...I say go ahead and play, and tell your boyfriend. NOT saying anything about playing truth or dare with a group of guys and girls WILL look shady and trustworthy to him.

Go ahead and play, and simply refuse to do anything that your boyfriend would be uncomfortable with:

*flashing your "personal body parts"

*kissing guys / girls (depends on your bf's preferences personally)

*touching other guys / girls in a flirty / sensual / sexual fashion

If you truly feel guys will be getting shirtless / naked, and your boyfriend is unconfortable w. that, then don't go.

My verdict is...tell your boyfriend about the game, who's playing (names if you know them by name), and everything you think will happen based on what you wrote in this question.

Then ask him if it's ok.

One pointer for you because of your age:

If you have problems considering other people in what you want to do, stay single. Communication IS KEY in relationships. Talk about anything that you may feel he won't like.

It's not the easiest thing to do because of the maturity involved (alot of teen under 18 are horrendously immature, yet is understandable)...but TALK to him about anything that you would ask on this site...and you'll realize that you may not need this site as much as you thought. ;-)

Ask your boyfriend! Chances are he'll say the same as me though: "NO, IT WOULDN'T BE OKAY!" How would you feel if he did it to you? "Yeah I kissed some girl but it wasn't romantic or anything".

Then again it's your call, but if you respect him you will at least ask him how he feels then judge the situation based on his opinion. Hope this helps :)

Your point made total sense to me.. I'd be really upset if he kissed another girl. Maybe I'll sit out on spin the bottle and set some boundaries with truth or dare (which will kind of ruin it, but who cares?)

I would say join in where you can, but draw the line before doing anything physical with another guy. Most likely your boyfriend won't feel comfortable with you kissing other guys. You can always talk to him about it and see what he says, but as a general rule, when you are in a relationship kissing others is out of bounds. Your friends should be understanding and respect your commitment to your boyfriend. Those games are about having fun, not hurting people.

Spin the bottle...? No, not okay. As for truth or dare, its questionable. Just tell them that you have a boyfriend. They can't force you to do anything. You should really ask your boyfriend though. The last thing you want is for him to find out from someone else.

depends on your relationship. I've played games like that when I was dating a guy, and he didn't like it when he found out. but we werent that serious, so it wasn't a big deal to me. if you're really into him, then I'd say no. otherwise, enjoy the party!

I wouldn't be okay with most of the stuff included in the games whether it was you doing things with guys or girls (for some reason, some think it's okay with the latter).
