Is it bad if I am playful with other guys in front of my bf?

I don't know why I do it... I've never had a boyfriend before and I was always like that around guys. Maybe its what I'm used to. Or its just who I am.



Anyway, my crush didn't like this the first time we met. He went from playful and sweet to serious and mad in like a second...

Is this normal for guys?

Would it bother you if your girlfriend flirted with other guys (without realizing it)? If she would never ever cheat.

the immense social unawareness required to "not know" when you are flirting would be pretty difficult to tolerate. I want to be with someone who can handle themselves socially. if she is unable to distinguish the clear boundaries of flirting, in all likelihood she cannot distinguish the boundaries of cheating. and finally, is it normal for guys? I think its normal for everyone to get upset when their S.O is hitting on someone else...

Well there are limits to everything. When you're in a relationship you can't go over the top or else it could cause some confusion and concern. There is a difference between innocent joking around and flirtation to being playful. It's okay to have friends who are guys just like it's okay for your boyfriend to have friends who are girls but there are limits to everything where you wouldn't want to make the other person uncomfortable.

Actually the problem is I don't know when I'm flirting. People around slways tell me when I am but I consider it just being friendly. And the guys play along, so...

well if a person tells you, that you are flirting, think about the actions/words you were just doing, and then remember next time that is a sign of you flirting, you will know when you are flirting.

Yes it would bug me. At some point you are going to realize that what you are doing isn't just a harmless kiddie game. The men want more than that, and the boyfriend will resent you deeply for, showing him no respect.
