Do ALL truck drivers cheat on their girlfriends?

How do you trust a guy that is gone a lot? Is it true that all truck drivers cheat on their girlfriends?

Generalizations are never ALWAYS true. That's why they're called generalizations. Everyone is different, and I'm sure there are truck drivers who cheat and truck drivers who don't. The fact that a guy is a truck driver doesn't mean he will cheat. However, I suppose it does increase the chances, given that they are gone so much. That type of relationship is never easy. But if you find a guy who you really love and trust, and he treats you well, don't let fears that he will cheat get in the way of your relationship. Call him a lot while he's away and be as good a girlfriend as you can, and if he's really a good guy he won't stray.

I will be honest based on the truck drivers and that lifestyle that I've seen...it's very likely that they cheat. Yes, they cheat. same goes for professional men who always go on business trips. if you can tolerate his dalliances then this wouldn't be a bad guy to date. but if you cant, like me, then I would not risk dating one.

I know a lot of people in the trucking industry, I don't know 1 who's cheated on their girlfriends. Just because they're on the road all the time doesn't mean they are cheating, in fact most of them love it when their wife or girlfriends comes along with them for a trip.

Because I know some truck drivers that cheat. I also heard from a guy (who used to truck) that the places truckers go, sluts and prostitutes show up (bars, road side restaurants, hotels, parking lots) and even if you can trust a trucker (I also know some good truckers that you can trust), he still will be away a lot...
