My crush, at university so we're both in our early twenties, well he would always act strange around me but be just fine with my friends...one day we bumped into each other and I was with a friend, he was speaking to her but the whole time he was looking at me and just staring deeply into my eyes and not saying anything to me...it was almost as if he was trying to intimidate me!

He is intimidated by you, honey. :) not the other way around. When a guy is shy, intimidated or feels clueless as of what to say/do, he starts sending signals without actually saying anything at all. You'd catch him staring at you, whispering to his mates about you and whatnot but he'd feel so afraid to approach you and talk.

Why? Shy guys are like that. They are afraid of rejection. Maybe you are super beautiful, super popular or super cool and he thinks he's not good enough for you and that you'll treat him badly and crush his heart in front of everyone.

Ofcourse he has no problem dealing with friends. You are different. You affect his heart tremendously. ;) If you like him, go for it and approach. Help him. He may be the guy you are looking for afterall. :)
