I came late to class and when I walked in and sat down and I looked behind me and there was this guy who was staring at me so intensely and suprised and when I noticed him he looked away quickly he also stares at me a lot

The obvious answer is he probably thinks you’re attractive. Or you were wearing something weird or stain? It’s about a 90% chance he likes you regardless. Do you think him staring is ok?

Probably, but it doesn't necessarily mean he is interested.
