So l have a crush on guy and we do have eye contact during class, he also looks in my direction if something funny or stupid happens during class but we never/rarely talk. In the break, I'm also with him and his friend group, but for some reason we don't talk, I can talk to the others guys without any problem and he talks to the other girls without any problem but we just can't talk to each other. We just talk over messengers (his message have started getting longer and he started to reply faster recently) but recently he started saying „bye, see you!" after classes and he asked why I was alone during the break once and one time he looked like he wanted to approach me after class but his friends kinda dragged him away. After I asked him if he wants to meet up with me (and optional: a friend of ours) he said „Yeah that would be great" and a few days later I asked him what we could do, he suggested going to the cinema and said „We’re absolutely going to hang out“ I'm confused now. Should I do anything? Or maybe I'm interpreting too much into this?

Well, he is the shy kind of boy just like you are the shy kind of girl. You talk together but you don't really communicate.

He obviously likes you but he does not want to let the others in the group know that he likes you and that is also why he keeps a certain distance, perhaps because he is afraid of the others' reactions if they find out.
