Shy guys only!!!!! I feel like I'm going insane!

So I have a shy crush. Really shy, not sure he's had a girlfriend before. Anyway as he is shy, I told him a liked him, I'm the one initiating all messages etc. He stares at me from afar everyday. Its driving me crazy though as he's never going to make a move. On one hand I'm not sure if he likes me and I feel like I'm making a fool of myself by messaging him etc and feel like just leaving it but on the other hand I don't want to because he is shy and I don't want him to just think 'oh she doesn't like me anymore'. What do I do? Its driving me insane. And please don't say ask him out, cos I already told him a like him and I'm not 100% sure he likes me back, I'm just going on the looks he gives me and the fact his chatty when I message him.

Oh I was a very shy guy too ^^ Just try to spend more time with him. Figure out when you can meet him where by "accident" and chat a little. or try instant messaging, when it's rather "anonymous" he might feel more comfortable, especially when he can sit in his own chair while talking to you.

Be patient with that kind. They're annoying but they are really nice and kind (normally). If he gets boring later, like when you're in a relationship, just kick his butt every then in a while and get him going again :D

Be aware: This kind of guy carries a little risk of never growing up to a man... That might push you into the position of a mother-replacement.

But for now: I'd take the risk and try to find out who he is :)

i know who he is, I know him well, I have been sending him instant messages but I just feel like I'm bugging him or making a fool out of myself. I also can't distinguish if he is replying and being chatty jus to be friendly rather than because he is interested. I'm know how the mind of an introverted and shy guy works, its just so frustrating as I don't know if will ever lead anywhere, an I really want it to. I have known him for 2 years. Although I only told him I liked him about 4 month ago

Then I'd suggest you make it clear: Either now or never. He knows you like him, while he doesn't dare to come out of his shell for you. How is any relationship ever supposed to work this way? If you really feel like a fool, then it might be time to let go of it :/

well that's what I was thinking of doing, but I think part of me hopes that in doing this it will push him to make more contact hiself if he likes me...but I'm afriad he will just think I don't like him anymore and move on. But then I guess if he does that then he didn't like me all that much in the first place. God knows

He might be afraid of getting hurt. Even if he's never had a girlfriend who broke his heart, he probably hasn't been treated well by girls because most of them can't stand shyness. Stop talking to him for awhile, and maybe he'll break out of his shell and start approaching you. If he doesn't, move on.

yeah I heard he has had a hard time off girls becasue he is shy. I don't want to be one of those girls though.

Well, like the others said, be patient with him. Maybe he'll see there's nothing to worry about and admit how he feels. He must feel something if you catch him openly staring at you.

Listen I am a really shy guy and I would love a guy to initiate a chat. I think introvert guys like extrovert girls. like opposite attracts. Just make him comfortable and spend a bit time with him .:). he will open up slowly

but I could spend forever chatting to him and making myself look like a fool is he doesn't even like me back. He used to talk to me everyday until I told him I like him now he still talks to me but doesn't come to me anymore, he waits until I contatc him or go to him first.

dont be sad. its how shy guys are. why don't you speak to him openly that you like him a lot and ask for his reply. and do this when you meet him. not while chatting :p

cos I'm too scared that he will say he doesn't feel the same. Even if he does like me and I ask him to his face or over message, chances are he will say no sorry as he will be too scared to do something?

if he rejects you that means he never liked you so its good for you rather than having false hopes. listen never make life complicated or you will be stressed all the time

He will open up to you when he knows you well enough...open up doesn't mean he will chat you up like a pro, it takes time with a shy person.
