A shy wave from females?

anyone notice sometimes if a girl is shy and probably attracted to a guy, she might wave below shoulder height (or lower) and wave by wiggling her fingers or just waving the hand left to right?

I know that a shy girl will just give a short, shy wave, whereas a more confident one waves more aggressively, confident that the other person WANTS to see her, etc.

Actually I catch myself do a very timid little smile, or look down at the ground real fast. The waving thing is more than I can handle if I am attracted to a guy.
