Do girls pay attention or stare at guys they find attractive. It seems like most girls don't, for one reason or another. They're shy, intimated, or simply just don't care...Why do girls stare?

The only way a guy's existence will engage my brain into real thought, is when I am getting to know him. When he approaches me and when I can tell he is interested in me.

But a random hot guy in my surroundings? Lol.

I simply don't care. I see hot guys and I find them nice to look at, I take a look and then move on. To me, they may as well be flowers, or shoes...

They are hot and I don't care. Male appearance means little to me and I can assure you this goes for most girls. We tend to focus on male power and manner of their personality when making our choice. Good looks are either a bonus or not on top of what we really seek.

That is not to say if the guy is repulsive to us we won't care. There are limits to everything, but looks are not nearly as important to us as they are to guys, so guys can rarely believe us when we say that.

Not to leave them out, there are girls out there who just look for casual flings and hook ups. They probably will care more about your looks, since they aren't seeking a partner in you.

And to answer your question... Yes, we do, just not while you are looking back at us.

For example, I might be looking at a guy I find attractive usaually day dreaming (which looks somewhat like a stare) but as soon as I realize he's looking or about to look I turn my head or look in a different driection.

And you are right about one thing it's because I'm shy or intimdated that he might think I'm a creep just ststing at him, or the fact that he isn't into me.

But, that's not always true.Guys usually don't notice the girls that gaze at them, because it is not the girl that he has interest in and walks right past them.

I do but, I usually just take quick glances. I have stared before and can be awkward sometimes. You don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Staring can get awkward if you're doing it too long for too much .

I break it down into a science:

There are 3 looks I usually get when have stared: flirty, calm/expressionless and "don't mess with me".

Flirty: the guy is attracted to you, dilated pupils , tiny smirk etc.

Calm/expressionless: a pretty average/neutral look . It's unclear whether or not he's interested but, he isn't creeped out, just curious as to why you are staring.

"don't mess with me": More than likely thisg uy is offended and you just looked at them the wrong way or they're just pissed off at the moment lol

Yes, definitely. I tend to steal glances at whoever I'm interested in. And I definitely notice everything they do. However sometimes I find I make random eye contact with people I don't mean to, so unless there is a great frequency of these glances and perhaps a smile or warmth behind them, I wouldn't read too much into it.

Well, staring IS rather obvious. It is nice to look at an attractive guy, but most girls I know enjoy being discreet rather than outright staring at someone.

At some point if a girl looks at a guy he will either freak out or approach.

Most guys freak out and don’t approach...so that answers your question.

Not every girl knows how to look at a guy, so that he won’t freak out. A nice eye-contact followed by a simple smile would give the guy enough guts for anything and everything, but people don’t learn that anywhere.

Can't speak for other guys, but I only approach when I get consistent signals from the girl - and sadly most girls give mixed signals (meaning sometimes they give out obvious signals, like smiling and looking into my eyes at the same time and then other times they don't give me any signals at all - leading me to not approach them, but to approach the girls that look at me and smile each and every time they see me ...but of course, this only applies where you see the same girls, like in college)

I will take a peek at the guy I find dead attractive, but I won't dare looking at him twice... aah it's so difficult being human. I hate feeling like this but that's how the body just reacts.

If I find a guy (or girl) attractive, I go over to him (her) and tell him (her) so, asking him (her) whether he (she) wants to fuck. I could stare back at a guy who is atring at me. I have also been known to stare at very ugly people because I coudl not believe what I saw.

They definitely do. Sometimes directly, sometimes out the corner of their eye continusly because theyt hink you don't notice, sometimes as quick glances and then they look away. Girls tend to repeatedly look at men they find attractive.

if a girl is staring at you,it could have many reasons behind it such as she has a staring problem/she's zoning out,there's something on your face,you look familiar,or you're actually attractive to her. there's so many reasons why a girl could be staring at you. just don't jump to conclusions

Well personally I stare at guys I find attractive but for every girl it's different. They probably just don't want to embarrass themselves. Tbh when a guy sees me staring I act like I'm mad at them and then they sorta get creeped out and look away. Don't judge me lol
