Why do people support, or follow a bully?

I've been bullied at my EX JOB. The queen bee didn't like me. I didn't interact with her, but she FOUND reasons to hate me. She would say bad things about me, in my face, and behind my back.Turned my coworkers against me. My female coworkers joined in, looking for HER approval.

They were all friends with the queen bee. The oddest thing is that every one of my coworkers has been a VICTIM of bullying. They respect the bully, follow the bully even ADMIRE the bully. It's like they don't have minds of their own.

Why do people follow the bully even though they know what doing is wrong?

EX: My boyfriend stopped being friends with a bully because he put his hands on me. Our circle decided that they rather hang out with the bully because his fun, exciting and they love him. The bully beat his wife, burned down a house, and does whatever he wants. BUT NO ONE SEE'S ANY BAD IN HIM.

They are monarch pleasers and like to do as they are pleasing and standing above the law and have shame for moral. They prefure to watch others work for their income and then laugh with a grin as a goat because they do nothing and get rich doing nothing while others work hard. They fly with the broom of a witch as out chosen people and is a symbol of freedom. With magic they are able to do what they are pleasing and they are the out chosen once and that is why they make it in society always while others are to clumsy to make it. They do this with what we call magic and it is called turn against people or support people with energy and energy of the mind, thought and will power.
They lose their battle on their ground if you live in truth , that is what they can't beat so they sedcue people not to battle them , with candy , to make sure people choose their side and it works in many cases but not always. In that case if you do not support them you get punishment.
So you get bullied.
You get stalked.
And that from those people around you even in your family can be joinin g them and that happens a lot.
This is the reason america is anti monarch in their constitution and flag symbol.
Actually who are pro monarch do not belong in america fro that reason.
Yet there are many pro monarch in america like the music industry and holly wood all owned by england.
they also have a masters degree.
so they own schools.
some people never make it.
they are tortuerd and called crazy.
They remain poor and many times find no jobs.
But they are bullied to death even so.
Then they say there is no explanation for the way they died or they say they commited suicide what is not always true and used as an excuse. Or they say they die because they smoke because people in trouble like to smoke and they were first made adicted to smoking and drinking coffee while they at first hated to smoke and drink coffee.
If you like lemonade they say that is to expensive.

There are several reasons why this happens:

1) You said it yourself...they are looking for the bully's approval.

2) Intimidation. Lots of people are intimidated by a bully and would rather stay on the good side of a bully then take a stand against them.

3) Protection. This is linked to intimidation. They would like to be protected by the bully just incase someone tries to be tough with them.

4) Popularity. This is a stupid reason but unfortunately it happens all the time. You say this girl is the queen bee, and your other ex co-workers probably followed her so they could be liked and gain popularity. At the same time, these same co-workers are probably insecure and not confident enough to act the way they normally would toward such a situation. When this happens the bully tends to gain authority. The bully would have already had some sort of authority just by being able to intimidate people but when people start following too the bully gains even more authority.

well intriguing question, there are several possible reasons I shall try and tackle most of them.

1.) Fear, they may fear the woman and as such follow her and try to seek her approval so they do not also become the brunt of her attack.

2.) instinct. You said she is the queen bee. This likely means she is in the position of authority. As such they will follow the "queen" out of instinct to stay away from danger (from her or others) and perhaps simply to seek approval in the eyes of a superior.

3.) She's boss, similar to first they may fear the loss of their jobs or lack of advancement if they don't condole her behavior or kiss her ass.

4.) Lastly perhaps they agree and think she is right

low confidence people tend to follow people with confidence as well so the bully probably "shows" confidence which is often a smoke screen for them being just as insecure

It doesn't happen in my world,but there are a lot of people who are weak as piss.The dead fish go with the flow,and so do the weak ones.

I've known people who've been close to wearing murder charges for fixing up a bully.The bully recovered (sadly) and didn't die,but at least it might have changed his attitude.
