Why does she always wait for me to talk to her?

A few times this girl has been drunk and text me telling me she likes me a lot and she knows I like her as well. We text and snapchat a lot and she quite often asks me when I'm next out. However she's confusing me abit. When I see her out I'm all ways the one who has to go and say hi or she won't and pretends she hasn't seen me, although I know she has. she seems excited to see me when I do go and see her and she is normally with all her friends who she introduces me to. Because she with her friends I don't hang around to long and let her enjoy her night. My question is I though when a girl likes you she will try and be near you and want to dance? or is she waiting for me to make the first move?

Is she the shy type or is she flirty?(In general not just with you) If she's shy, she's probably waiting for you to sack up and make a move. If she's flirty she might not really be interested, she might just like playing games. I had a similar situation with a girl who is normally extremely flirty. She would drunk text me or call me all the time. Eventually she confessed to liking me and we hooked up a few times. (when confessed I liked her too she became uninterested). But in the end she only wanted attention and as soon as she got it she was gone.

I'm willing to bet that you haven't know her from a very, very long time. She's clearly still getting comfortable around you and like xxx-girl said; some girls want the guy to make the first move (albeit I'll say most girls - until they are really, really, really comfortable around them, and even then there are some girls that still hold true to the old image of us guys having to do every single darn thing)

Either this girl doesn't have enough self confidence to go up to you in person and be herself and dance with you etc or she is just wants you to do the initiative. Some girls are like that they won't do anything unless you make the first move. She likes you, trust! I mean if she drunk texted you then yea you're fine. It comes down to make a move and see what happens

I agree. Some girls expect that the man will make the first move. She's probably just waiting for you to act!

Sounds to me like she's insecure and has a hard time making the first move. It's a lot easier to tell someone how you feel about over text than make a move in person (especially if she's shy).
