She hates me but stares at me? (Help!)

She knows I like her we used to be very close. We had a fight and I Haven't spoken or seen her in a week. She has been talking bad about me to everyone. Today I saw her and I didn't look at her but once I caught her staring at me when she was with her friend and when I looked at her she had a amusing smile and I quickly looked away.

I really don't know what she wants?!? I'm confused she doesn't seem angry.

I think she is hurt. She probably didn't want you that way but wanted to keep you around as a friend. She's mad because she lost out. Good for you though, if you like her and she doesn't want that, don't waste another second on her. She wants to have the cake and eat it too. If you stick around as a friend she gets a friend and an ego boost. She gets all the attention she wants both as a friend and still knows she's wanted. Don't be confused, you are not confused, stick to your guns, who the F cares what she wants now. She is talking bad about you because then in order for you to set the record straight you have to go re-explain the whole issue out to everyone, which exposes you as being vulnerable and kind of a lesser man, or if she led you on, you have to kiss and tell to disprove her, which makes you look more like a dick. Take the high road my brother, don't talk to her, don't look at her, she's already shown you an ugly side, why make it even worse, remember her as that awesome chick you used to know, because now she's a wack job.

Thanks for all the help! I'm definitely letting her go! If I want I can see her almost everyday but I don't know should I kinda disappear because I know where she hangs out. But I'm wondering will she start to miss me if she sees me often or if I disappear will she then start to miss me?

If you go back to seeing her, guess what, she just pulled you back in, and you won't be anything more than a friend. Ya I heard you the first time. If a girl liked you she wouldn't have that grin on her face, that means she think she's winning and your scared of her. I'm almost positive that this girl really does not like you . Sorry sucks I know
