@Salohcin22 thats true but sometimes people still view men without stereotypical male traits as wimpy, because supposedly whining or complaining is a woman thing to do. even though people are viewing gender behaviour differently in many ways we still subscribe to typical views when it comes to men and women. i am guilty of this too :(

Double standards or what? I don't see how any of what she said is justified or considered rational at all. It is a total generalisation and both her & you in the comments above are implying that guys who ask personal questions are viewed as weak which is ridiculous. That's just a stereotype of society and it's exactly the same as me saying girls on GAG are sluts for asking questions about sex, as society stereotypes would tell us. I don't actually feel that way about women, I just felt compelled enough to make my point. She might think she's a keyboard warrior but I know for a fact she wouldn't dare call me a wimp face to face, or to any other guys, which is extremely ironic. Pathetic actually.

But even tho i agreed that sometimes guys here could be wimpy i continued to say we shouldn't say wimpy because a man having a personal issue just like a girl on this site shouldn't be looked down upon or referred to as wimpy and i admitted even i am guilty of this sometimes. but like in the mytake i also said i sympathise and i dont envy guys for having to figure out our behaviour. but i do get your point about generalisations...
