The only one of these I ever encountered that bothered was #5. There is something like a cabal of married people, women particularly, who just don't like to see an eligible and desirable guy roaming free. That or they just want to fix up their friends.
Money means nothing when it comes to the meaning of life/happiness and confidence should take care of the rest. Not sure how many men are in a "women and children first" situation but I try to not focus on things that most likely will never happen. I would prefer to win the lottery than prepare for death.

People see that and think " well good for him. he's so successful and powerful." Now picture that but with a woman. everyone looks at that and thinks "what a bossy lady. She should really be looking after a family. not her own company." and yeah some of these aren't fair but a lot of these are problems women have too except vice versa.
