I sometimes see couples where the guy is so much older than the girl, but that's not something I see very often...but I think it's really cute.
Actually, there is a guy, and he's about 8 years older than me and he works at the gym that I go to. On the first day that I met him we just started chatting and we found out that we have so much in common, we had the same hobbies and even thought about things the same way! He gave me his number and he took my phone from me and followed himself from my instagram. We did chat via text but only about 3 times, and he sometimes likes my posts on IG.
I'm at the gym every second day and whenever he sees me he smiles and says hi, or asks how I am, and sometimes he just looks at me while I'm working out. He even gave me advice on how to workout and on what to eat and what not to eat. If I don't see him because I'm too busy doing something else, like talking to a trainer, he comes up behind me and puts his hand on my back and says hi and goes away... He just really confuses me. I mean, we seemed to have hit it off, but he just doesn't chat if he doesn't see me in person and doesn't like my posts anymore :/ but I sure as hell did notice him checking me out when I wore a a cute red summer dress. Honestly, I think he thinks that I'm too young for him and that's why he's only communicating when I see him.
So my take on this is that older guys sometimes think that some girls are too young for them and that's why they back off, or don't ask her out. Some girls (myself included) are mature (this guy knows I'm mature) and don't mind age differences.
My question: would you or would you not date a younger girl? And why?
