Being A Very Short Guy Sucks!

Since I have no friends I'm going to vent it all out here. These are the things that piss me off the most about being my height.

1. Unless you have some special talent or are loaded, you arouse no interest at all in the other sex. Talking to a woman is simply wrong and unacceptable. Just try talking to a woman and she'll stick her fingers in your face or call her male friends to beat you up. you're bound to be forever alone.

2. You're a social outcast. Nobody wants to be friends with a midget, not eve guys, and guys your height are rare and difficult to find. You're forsaken by society.

3. You get no respect at all and other guys do whatever they want with you. I've escaped being raped, I suppose because I'm ugly, but several prettier short guys I know were (some in front of me). I still couldn't and can't escape being bullied physically. Though, still, I'm lucky that I'm ugly. For a very short man even being handsome is a curse. You must swallow every humiliation without opposing resistance. Resistance is indeed called short man syndrome.

4. Your career perspectives are much narrower that those of taller peers.

5. It's perfectly politically correct to disparage short men. Despite all this discrimination and mistreatment, since you're still a man (despite everyone pointing out you're not) you have no rights and nobody and nothing to turn to for help, but you can't work your way through it like a man either. Indeed, if you try you have "napoleonic complex" or "short man syndrome". Women have feminism and female friends, every minority has its recognized rights. You don't have anyone or anything, not even yourself because you're powerless and worthless. Not a man, not a woman. a short, tiny, trudging scurrying pile of human (?) refuse.

Firstly, I do sympathize that you have difficulties in life. And I acknowledge that you DO have difficulties. Yes, shorter men are generally considered less attractive, less strong, even less trustworthy. They have fewer romantic prospects, generally earn less, and have fewer job prospects.

That being said, I believe you may have taken these legitimate challenges and elevated them to an extreme.

1. Arouse no interest at all in the opposite sex? I know this to be untrue. You arouse *less* interest in the opposite sex. I know men who are well below average height who don't make much money but the are married.

2. Social outcast? Again, I know short men who have many friends.

3 No respect at all? I know short men who have my respect and the respect of others.

4. Narrower yes. Much narrower, I can't agree.

5. I have found exactly the opposite to be true.

I don't wish to sound as though I am belittling your problems. I do very much acknowledge that shorter men do have their problems. I would suggest that you are faced with a choice. The wisest choice would be to shoulder on and have the best life you can make for yourself. I might add that this pervasive hopelessness which is in your take might contribute to the problems.

5'3'' and i wash dishes then i try to scurry home safe. That's the best life i can nave but i think i' m going to commit suicide. I'm 4'7" and almost every man is taller than me. I have no problem dating a man who is 5'3". I prefer shorter men. Just remember that any person who rejects you because of your height is not worth your time and does not deserve the big things you can offer. I honestly think that short guys are the best guys ever. I've noticed that they usually look better and they are smarter.

Being a very short man does have its disadvantages but I decided to take a look at the advantages and analyze why being short is valuable. Being a very short man is equivalent to being a diamond 💎 and these are the reasons.

1. Us very short men are rare to find. 💎💎 are rare to find.

2. If a woman rejects you, don't be offended. People reject what they can't afford. 💎💎 are expensive and that's why people refuse to buy them. That's why people get offended when you try to sell them things they can't afford. Tall guys may be more desirable but they say that cheap prices attract more customers

3. Short guys have more beautiful faces. 💎💎 are beautiful. Just look at the Olympic male gymnasts, some of them are under 5'5 and are very attractive. Their faces can destroy the tall guy's entire body. Short people look younger than what they are and therefore age better. 💎💎 continue to outshine all other stones no matter how old they are. My 5'0" professor who was 70 looked 50.

4. Short people live longer than most people. So this means that very short men will outlive all other men. 💎💎 outlast all other stones.

5. Short people are less accident prone. Very short men are harder to break. 💎💎 are a lot harder to break than the other cheap stones.

6. Very short men are tiny men. 💎💎 come in very small sizes. Us very short men fit in bathtubs and beds and so many other places. 💎💎 can fit in anywhere.

7. Us very short men go through all this heat and pressure just because we are the way we are. Before 💎💎 are formed, they've went through so much intense heat and then turned out more polished than all the other less valuable stones. Just look at Kevin Hart, he is worth millions now and it took him so much pressure and heat to get to where he is today. Same with Olympic gymnasts who are very short.

8. People who don't work hard don't understand the value of things because everything gets handed to them. Us very short men don't get things handed to us so we work twice as hard, but taller people had zero input on their height and they are usually unaware that things are easily handed to them because of that reason. So that's why taller people undervalue us because they are not aware that we are the polished diamonds that worth twice as much as they do.

I thank my parents, especially my mom, for giving the precious genes that I have. I have good looks and a tiny body. I am the diamond that is hidden among all the other worthless stones.

As a short man myself this is a wonderful response. In the end it's all about perspective. Yes being short does have some disadvantages, but it's what you do with it that makes a difference, if you let it become an obstacle it will be an obstacle, the more of an issue it is for you the larger the obstacle. Work with what you have, rather than what you don't. :-)

I'm 5'4. I'm attractive to the opposite sex. I've been asked out at least twice in HS, and kind of sort of in college. Two of these females were taller than me. I might be forever alone, but that's by choice. I have sex.

As far as 5 yes and no. You do have rights. Your rights are no different than any else's. Though being still a man some people do pick at short guys. It happens. However, I believe being short is only a major issue of you make it that way.

Well this US Marine is 5'6 in height, balding and ugly as fuck from all the sunburns, scars and the kind of physical stress has made me look at least 10 years older than I really am, I don't own any real estate, don't own any flashy or nice cars, just a Ford Focus. I knkw majority of girls like there guys to be minimum 6 feet. one giek I know said 6'4 or 6'3

10 inches smaller then me is like 5ft 4. My girly is 5ft 7.5 and she is always complementing me on how perfectly tall i am, and i do feel very tall compared to her, and thats a 4/5 inch difference.
