nice take. on the circumcision though, some men are cut not by choice, like myself, but due to medical reasons.
I know that circumcision is sometimes needed, but I was terrified when I heard that in America they are just cutting everyone at birth
What medical benefit is there to male genital mutilation? So far, apart from catastrophic injuries, there is none that I know of.

@Benedek38 i am not too sure of the medical name for it as i had it done about 10 years ago, but my foreskin was basically shrinking closed and pulling tight over the head. had small cracks in as well. very painful and super uncomfortable. could not even pee properly at a point without pain

I had phimosis as a child, and I still have my foreskin. You don't need it removed for that. That's like saying the solution to a scarred arm is to cut it off entirely.

That's probably a form of infection or skin irritation. I had similar too - sensitive, dry, cracked foreskin, bleeding or scarring in places. Usually it can be prevented with proper hygiene and eating plenty of vitamins, and it heals by itself. Of course you should always visit a doctor if you are unsure. And you ABSOLUTELY don't need circumcision for genital infections. Again, that's like cutting off your nose when you get a cold. It makes no sense.

@Benedek38 it was/is due to diabetes, therefore there was nothing that was helping. the sugar gives a yeast infection and it just does not get better. the same as a diabetic that gets a wound and that does not heal. it does not happen all the time, but in my case it did happen that nothing helped. anyway, that is just my experience, not saying it is always due to medical reasons
Well, then it wasn't really a genital infection, was it? The solution is easy - dont be diabetic. Again, this is like saying amputation has medical benefits for diabetic people - yeah, they will avoid dying. But I wouldn't classify that as beneficial. There is a fine line between beneficial and less harmful.
And I pointed out that I wasn't talking about medical interventions, injuries, etc. Chances are a heathy human being won't have diabetes, or won't experience such severe sympthoms.
THe fact is that 99.99% of circumcisions happen for religious reasons, and offer no medical benefit. In exchange it mutilates young boys, and makes sex less pleasurable for them. It is a barbaric practice, and it is about time the united states bans it without the individuals consent. HINT: a baby cannot consent.
